The world comes together for International Women's Day (IWD) on March 8 to celebrate women's achievements and reinforce a commitment to women's equality. On international Women's Day, the whole world as a one celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.
